These sessions, rooted in the principles of integrated dance movement therapy, are designed to promote well-being by helping you listen to and honor your body’s messages while reconnecting with different levels of consciousness. They invite you to find your rightful place in the circle of life, harmonizing body, heart, and mind to cultivate a deep and authentic connection with yourself.
Throughout the sessions, we explore various themes, such as reclaiming personal power, balancing feminine and masculine energies, navigating emotions, boosting self-confidence, and enriching your relationships with yourself and the world around you. By exploring different movement qualities, you’ll expand your expressive range and transform the way you interact with life for greater alignment and harmony.
Each session follows a five-phase structure: opening and warm-up, release, theme exploration, centering, and closing. These sessions are open to everyone, with no prior dance experience required. Life is movement, so let yourself dance freely!
Sessions can be held online or in person, depending on your preference, to suit your needs and rhythm
How to Prepare for Your Session
- Clothing:
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. Dancing barefoot is ideal, but non-slip socks or soft dance shoes work too. - Materials:
- A water bottle.
- A yoga mat or cushion for warm-up or centering moments.
- A notebook to jot down reflections or insights.
- For Online Sessions:
- Prepare a clear, open space where you can move freely without obstacles. Ensure you have enough room to stretch your arms and move safely.
- Use a device with a reliable internet connection and a camera so I can guide you effectively.
- Create a calming atmosphere, perhaps with dim lighting, candles, or essential oils, to set the mood for relaxation and self-expression.
